Gone are the days of true exploration. Neither you nor we will be the next Christopher Columbus. We accept this, but does it mean the notion of being intrepid or adventurous is dead? That's up to you.
Nomadic Nation brings the adventure to your doorstep, along with connection to a gaggle of people who are just as intrigued as you are. Keep in mind, these are the same folks who are crazy enough to think getting lost in the Sahara is fun. While the adventure is at the heart of it all, helping children in need is our end goal. The treks and your fundraising do just that; provide heaps of cash for charities working with kids all over the world.
We might not be saving the world, but we're committed to trying to make a difference. This is why in addition to the massive fundraising we work with these partners and organizations:
Nomadic Nation proudly supports the ChildSafe Network, a Friends-International Initiative for the protection of children. We work to reduce child exploitation and trafficking opportunities.
Together, we protect children from all forms of abuse. The ChildSafe Network involves businesses, especially tourist service providers, government agencies, non-profit organisations and individuals – including travelers - to actively protect urban children and youth.
We encourage everyone to look at how their behavior can impact the lives of children. As part of being responsible travelers, together, we can help create supportive environments where children are protected.

Our priority is to assist organizations that are dedicated to impoverished children and helping in their struggle for a better life. Of course, we don't want to help them, only to go on killing them with the pollution caused by our Treks.Thus we have teamed up with Climate Care to offset each of the teams’ carbon footprints for each trek.
ClimateCare has provided high quality carbon offests since the whole novel idea ever came about. They help people have an impact, lowering business emissions and individual carbon footprints through carefully sourced carbon reduction projects, because we all want to tackle climate change today.

We want you to be involved. From taking part in a trek to offering advice on the forum, getting others signed up or just to complain about what we’re doing wrong.
We are a fledgling democratic Nation and we do want our citizens' input. Our imagination runs wild with future Trek ideas. In fact it is all we think about. Harnessing enough pigeons to float the average office chair across a continent has come up more than once. However, sometimes the river runs dry. So if you think you have an idea that could muster enough interest, we would love to hear it... no matter how crazy it might sound.
