The Route

The route was chosen on the basis of Carnets, annoying pieces of paper that cost too much money. As this is a budget trek we have done our best to avoid those countries requiring it.

Visas will not be cheap, nor the roads easy, but the six brave (and slightly stupid) team members will push forward through the heart of Africa to make it in time for the match.

The map below is a vague outline for the actual route. Roads may be closed or nonexistent, forcing the teams to detour. Hopefully not through a herd of elephants!
